DAE HAN

Dae Han is a drummer, pianist, producer and composer. He leads a collective of musicians based out of Hawaii under the name The Dae Han Ensemble. Some of Dae’s most notable endeavors are drumming for rapper Shing02, New York based trumpet player Takuya Kuroda, singer Maryanne Ito and soul singer Zeshan B. As an artist himself, he has spent many hours in the studio, crafting a persona that’s entirely separate from his drumming entity. His first album was released in December 2019 through the record label, Aloha Got Soul and is entitled Blue. Dae can be seen performing with his ensemble at various establishments and venues across Hawaii.

ABOUT AFRO BEATS SERIES

The Afrobeat Series is the latest installment in Dae Han’s musical journey. With drums being at the center, Dae has written and arranged songs to be played in an afrobeat style. This spin on the genre can be described as a soulful blend of jazz and funk, with every intention of making you want to dance and feel good.
